Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American actress from America. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is a performer and an author. Her career in film began in the her early 80s when she was featured as a crime drama actress, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of famous stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her debut success in a film, the actress appeared as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest high school films of all time. Although the budget for this film was just $1 million, it made more than $50 million. The actress also appeared on a number of television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other TV shows featured her in. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about the superhero X-Men in which she plays a cameo. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her outstanding performances, which include an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
